If your looking for a place near Playa Brasilito and Playa Conchal (a beach that you must visit if your in Guanacaste), stop right here! This place has an amazing location: supermarkets, sodas, restaurants, ATV renting, car renting, etc. The place is visually pleasant with a nice pool to relax and cool from the warmth of the beautiful coast. It has all the commodities that you would expect… and the breakfast is delicious! I highly recommend this place.

We’d like to acknowledge all the attention to detail and care that Simon and Hilda provided when planning our barefoot beach wedding(we eloped). They took the time and listened to what we wanted and the results are beyond what we can describe–it was a very fun loving day that we will always cherish. We were absolutely thrilled when we learned that Marcelo Galli is their preferred officiator and we absolutely loved Jennifer Harter, our wedding photographer, who totally understand us. Hilda’s hair stylist, without my showing her any photos, gave me the best updo I have ever had. The night before the wedding, I realized my nails could use some help, Hilda took care of that and had a very nice lady give me a manicure on my wedding day. Daybor and Brayner created the most stunning (simple and elegant) arrangement on the beach, we could feel the love and kind intentions. Despite being very busy with running their hotel and restaurant, Simon and Hilda were always there for us, to the point of taking the time to drive us to the beach for our wedding and be our witnesses. What we would really like to emphasize is that Simon and Hilda went above and beyond with planning our wedding… they truly cared and their loving kindness as well as that of their staff (thank you Brayner and Daybor!!!) created the awesome energy that lit up our wedding day. It is a beautiful thing when you are surrounded by good people.

A real gem in the Brasilito area. Rooms were immaculate and beautifully put together. The design of hotel property is lovely. Very close to the gorgeous playa Conchal. Must eat at their restaurant, especially for variety compared to local restaurants. Monkeys dangling from trees the last day we were there.

Excellent pricing and the staff is always going above and beyond to make sure that every person is satisfied with their meal and experience at Papaya!!!! This is a MUST eat whenever you are in town. Great rooms and overnight experiences as well. Clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel and restaurant are 100% supportive of the local community and never hesitate to charity drives and the local communities needs. Selfless people and a great place.”

“I would recommend this place to anyone! Simon and Hilda are so genuine and nice. They would do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We had a group of 20 stay and everyone felt the same way. The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was wonderful! The restaurant is delicious! We ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner! This hotel handled our wedding and we couldn’t ask for anything better. They were very easy to work with and everything turned out perfect. They took care of everything from the decorations, cake and food to setting up the hair and makeup and photography to the little details like giving my maid of honor bobby pins and my groom a razor! Truly a great hotel run by great people. We plan on going back!.”

“Staying at Conchal Hotel was the highlight of our trip to Guanacaste. This charming hotel in the heart of Brasilito, next to playa Conchal is a perfect place to relax and enjoy. The food in the hotel is magnificent!… best in town and very affordable. All the staff in the hotel and service is excellent and they are very friendly. The room is so confortable and beautifully decorated. The tropical plants around the swimming pool give a very unique and lovely atmosphere to the place. I highly recommend this place to anyone who want to have a great vacation in Conchal. Will come back every time I come to Guanacaste. Thanks for everything! 🙂

“I loved everything about this small and charming hotel! The rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious, with homemade breads and jams and fresh fruits and is served on the open second floor balcony. They have wonderful decorations made from recycled products, including wine bottles they made into hanging lights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they actually upgraded our room to the Casita upon arrival. And on top of everything the rates are incredibly reasonable for this area. Playa Brasilito is a 5 minute walk, and the stunning Playa Conchal only a 10-15 mins walk. All in all, a wonderful weekend stay at Conchal Hotel, I will definitely stay here again.
